Northern Harrier

Now that I know what it is, this is not the first Northern Harrier that I have seen, but it did allow me to get relatively close for a couple of decent shots.

Not the Harrier, but a different hawk (red-shouldered? I don't know).

A Turkey Vulture.

And finally, a female Cardinal.

  1. northern harriers used to be called marsh hawks. they are pretty common in central tx in the winter.
